It’s the time of the season, once again, for the beautiful wildflowers. I love it when they come around! Here is a peak at a session I did of a sweet little girl, Abby! We had fun laughing together (she has the SWEETEST smile!!), picking some flowers, and smelling them. And, Thank you, Lord for beautiful weather we’ve been having lately too!

About a week ago I set out to do a college senior portrait of Jen. Her family has some gorgeous property so we went out there for the session. We were there quite a while just walking around, hanging out, and enjoying the beautiful day! This was only my second time meeting Jen, but we chatted away like we do this sort of thing all the time. She’s incredible in front of the camera which made everything that much awesome-er. (If that’s not a word, it should be.)

I had the pleasure of photographing a precious little girl who just turned one! This was my first time meeting her and i just fell in love with her. (I tend to do this… what a great job i have!!) …but i think this little one fell in love with me as well! We are such friends already.
I can’t wait to see her again. Hopefully there will be many more photo shoots with her in the future!

So, I thought i’d take a short break from the Easter sessions and bring you a little change of scenery. I met Cathy about a month ago when she hired me to photograph her wedding. Since her wedding is only two and a half weeks away, we figured we’d better do an engagement session pronto! So, last week I went out and got a few shots of Cathy and her future hubby, Justin, and we had a great time! They are an awesome couple and I can’t wait to do their wedding. Justin is a little camera shy and warned me that he is not so much looking forward to taking pictures for the wedding… but all that will soon change. I let him know that it’s definitely not unusual for the groom to not be absolutely thrilled about getting their picture taken. But I know that when the day comes he won’t be thinking about anything other than his lovely bride and we’ll just leave the rest up to me.
Until THAT blog comes!!……. check these out…

I took Easter away from the computer. I know I said one blog every day for a week, but… it was Easter! so I think that’s a good excuse for missing one day. I had a wonderful time with my family celebrating the awesome life that we have in Jesus. I did some crafts with my 3 year old and told her the story of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and being raised from the dead 3 days later… now, He’s ALIVE!
She loves this holiday… so do i!
She also had fun receiving her special prizes in her Easter basket and she ate more candy than I can even keep a count for, so we’re going to take a break from the sweets for a while!
Well, all in all, it was a wonderful day spent with my family and i thoroughly enjoyed it. Now… back to the blog world.
We are getting close to the end of the Easter sessions. This was one of the last ones and it’s definitely one of my favorites (okay, do i REALLY even have a favorite?!??) No. There’s no way to ever choose! But, these four amazing children are absolutely incredible. I can’t begin to describe what a gorgeous family this is. I can’t wait to do their whole family photo session within the next month or so, but for now… here are the four kids. BEAUTIFUL. Just beautiful!!!
