I know, i know… it’s been a month or more since i’ve blogged, but i’ve been swamped! I hate being too busy to blog! But there are a TON of new and awesome things in store for Jodie Lynn Studio, so i’m REALLY excited about that! You will be hearing more about these things in future blogs! (if i can ever get around to doing them!)
Well, i can’t count on my hands and toes how many sessions (and one wedding) i’ve done in the past month. I think i’m just going to have to pick and choose which ones to blog as there are too many and i’d never be able to catch up! But, just know you can be looking forward to seeing some more images soon!
Also, if you follow me on facebook, you’d know i’m sort of in the early stages of being in search of an assistant. I desperately need one, and have for quite some time, so i’m looking for someone to lighten my load so that I can be more available to YOU and keep everything more updated!
Hopefully something will happen with that very soon! (fingers crossed!)
Well, anyway, that’s all for now, but I can’t blog without posting at least ONE image! I mean, what’s a blog without a photo!??
Here is one of the many amazing photos from a recent beach session…

That’s all for now… See you SOON!!

I have a ton of blogs to post, but first for this month I will start by posting the wedding of Cathy and Justin Cooper! They were married on April 24th at beautiful Royal Oaks Country Club. Everything… EVERYTHING was peeerrrrrrfect! From the minute I arrived up to the very last goodbye! I loved it! It’s actually not at all uncommon for me to make friends with the people I meet at weddings, but this time it was just ridiculous! (in a TOTALLY good way!)
Cathy and I met for the first time at my house for her wedding consultation. I immediately loved listening to her talk and tell me about she and Justin and their entire journey. The sweet stuff and the tough wedding planning stuff! I loved it all. Cathy and I clicked right away and I knew I was going to have a blast at this wedding.
Sure enough, I got to become great friends with her and some of her awesome family (whassup Jenn & Brian! you know!!) haha … tons tons ttttooonnssss of fun! So, aaanyway… I just want to say a huge CONGRATS to Cathy and Justin! I love you all and your awesome family and totally rad peeps in your wedding party! Bridesmaids and groomsmen rocked!
Okay…. Enjoy the pics!

MY FAV!!!…

You know how sometimes an image just captures you and there’s something about it that you love but just cant explain in words? Well, that is this next image for me. i LOOOOVE it!!!!! I feel like there’s so much to it.

Whew! I think that was a record of the number of pics i’ve posted in a single blog! Hope you enjoyed!

Okay, seriously? this family… GORGEOUS. The kids… incredible. The parents… supermom and superdad. You might recognize the kids from an Easter session I did of them back in March. Well, this time around I was able to get the whole family and it was sooo much fun! (I always have fun on my shoots don’t i?!) Anyway, for real. They just love each other so much and get along so good and crack each other up, that I really don’t have to do much but to just follow them around and capture their naturalness. <--- that's GOT to be a word, bc it didn't give me the little red underline thingy... I didn't think it was but i guess it is... awesome.
So, back to the fam. You will totally see what i'm talking about when you see the pics. Beautiful people inside and out. You MAY also recognize them bc they've been in a few commercials (not just locally... all over) and they are just so great in front of the camera, so all in all it was just one big day of fun!
There's so much more wonderful things I could say, but i'm thinking you don't so much come on this blog to read what I type but more-so to look at pics!! So........ here they are!!!

Man, i’ve been so blessed to work with so many completely awesome people. I mean, I realize i’m pretty cool myself and all, but seriously. I’ve met some AMAZING people! Evan is one of them! I first received a phone call from Evan’s mom who had paid for her senior portrait through another company and they were completely dissatisfied with the results. She said she found me later on and called to meet with me to see about hiring me. I LOVE her mom! She’s such a cool mom and loves her daughter so much. I really got along with her and can’t wait to do more family photo shoots in the future!
Well, it turned out to be a great day and Evan brought along her boyfriend, who is also pretty awesome I must say, and have a few shots with him as well. They were both so much fun and we had alot of laughs. Can’t wait to do it again!
Congrats to Evan on your upcoming graduation!

I absolutely love this couple. They are wonderful people… just wonderful. I had a blast with them on the engagement session and I just knew I’d love doing their wedding. I was SO right. Kayla is just so naturally beautiful, but she is an absolute sweetheart on top of it. She and Bill were made for each other. They are both such tenderhearted, kind people, but alot of fun and know how to have a great time! It’s so rare now days to find this precious love that these two have, but when you find it, it’s so refreshing and makes you want to fall in love all over again!
They have an amazing family who just welcomed me in right away and made me feel very comfortable. They also have a great set of friends and I loved watching them all laugh, joke around, and cry together. It was such a fun day. I am honored to have been a part of it.
Congratulations to Kayla and Bill. May you enjoy the rest of your lives spending it together!!
