It really seems like it’s that season again… the baby boom season! Everyone around me is having a baby or expecting… including myself! I met Emma a couple years ago when I did a newborn session for her little girl Adalay. Since then Emma and I have become good friends, and now we are both preggers at the same time, due within days of each other! Emma is expecting a boy and I’m expecting another girl.
Well, Adalay will be turning 2 in just a few weeks, so we did a session kinda combined with shots of Adalay and Emma as well. I tell you, with only 7 weeks to go at this session, Emma is one hot momma! I’ve never seen someone in better shape! And Adalay is just super adorable as well, running around playing. The whole session was a blast!
Enjoy!…

This was a really fun session! The focus was on Gabe, who just turned 5, but we got some family shots in there as well. The awesome car you see belongs to Gabe’s grandfather, who was so generous to let us use it for the shoot! It’s gorgeous and in mint condition so we were VERY careful when leaning on it, or even getting near it! haha
check it out!

Florida weather is always crazy, but lately it has just gotten ridiculous! I mean, all this cold weather and no snow? What’s up with that?! If it’s going to be below 30 and I can’t feel my fingers, then I want there to be snow! Well, one thing about Florida’s crazy weather is you never know when it’s going to just get really warm all the sudden. Thankfully this past Saturday was a GORGEOUS warm day in the midst of all these freezing brutal wintery days. How do I always get so blessed with great weather for my weddings? I love it!
Caitlin and Jeremy had a very simple and small wedding, and it was so beautiful and so much fun! I loved both of their families… they had me laughing the whole time. I also found myself tearing up every now and then at moments like when Caitlin opened up a gift from Jeremy before the ceremony. It was a gorgeous silver box with a bracelet inside that had a charm that said “Let’s Grow Old Together.” Ahhhh how sweet!
Well, the whole afternoon was awesome. I loved getting to know the couple and having many, many laughs with them!
CONGRATULATIONS you two! May the Lord bless your marriage!!!

You may remember Shawna and Brandon from their engagement session that I posted back in August. You can check it out on the archives.
Well, now the wedding was finally here! It was just a few days before Christmas. Everything was beautiful! And thanks to this Florida weather, we weren’t going crazy freezing outside. It was a perfect day! They even had me design a card to pass out to family members and they arrived just in time for Christmas! (You can check out the card at the end of the blog.)
What? You didn’t know Jodie Lynn Studio offered cards by occasion!? Heck yes we do! Each card is personally designed by myself and printed in a high quality professional lab. Just let me know what your occasion is, and we’ll get you the card you’ve been looking for!
Anyway, a HUGE congratulations to one of the cutest most awesome couples on earth! May the Lord bless your marriage as you continue to walk with Him!

Here is their Christmas Card…

Sometimes you just have to be patient… and that’s what we did two nights ago! Little Colby’s mom and I waited and waited and waited for this little one to fall asleep. He was crying and sooo tired… he just couldn’t get there! We went through a feeding, a rocking, the paci, another rocking, more paci, many moments of silence, and finally this little one fell asleep! But, it was totally worth it bc when he finally fell asleep, then we could play around with him and mold him how we wanted. …Kinda… every now and then he’d jump or straighten his legs out real strong. But the whole night was alot of fun and it ended with lots of smiles!
Congrats to Jerod and Michelle on your new addition!
